The general rules seem to be:
- Aim for the best depth of field
- Depth of field means small aperture and long exposure
- Keep the camera steady on a tripod
- Use lighting
- Don't used mixed fluorescent and incandescent lighting
- Forget film, go digital
- Its all about the light and how it is directed
I'll keep adding to the list as I learn. Mostly I'm trying to figure out how to work the camera.
Got ideas for me? I'd love to hear them!
