Paint Advice - Concrete
Famous model railroader Bill Darnaby recommends Floquil's Polly S 500879 Grey 30372 as the best old concrete color to use. This product is a sandy color, but mimics the yellow highlights found in concrete.

Moving Day!
I'm moving my train tips blog over from the Swamp to the Model Railroader's Notebook. Since I do both the swamp and a lot of other modeling I thought it would be better to have a generic blog based just on model railroading. The purpose of the blog is for me to move from hard-to-search-and-organize paper notebooks to a digital form. This way I can carry the laptop to the shop and type out what I'm doing, as well as record pictures. Drawings are the hard part and will require so thought.
Many of you remember my previous website by the same name. I'll eventually repost all the information from that 300+ page website.
