Old Log Cabin - Future Build?

This is a preserved log cabin from the Historic Brattonville State Park in South Carolina.  I've been wanting to build a log-by-log cabin for some time and this could be a good prototype since it is close by and would be easy to come back and measure.

A handy trough, I guess where when the horse is sleeping over.  It must have been relocated here because most of the chinking (clay or mud packed in between the logs) is missing.

When I shot this I could not see inside the building, I just pushed the camera through the window.  It is fully furnished.  I can smell cornbread cooking in the hearth!
